All visitors need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry and sufficient blank pages (recommend at least 3). A valid return or onward ticket is generally required.

Safety & Security
Namibia is generally considered one of the safer countries in the region. Petty crime occurs mainly in urban areas.
- Avoid displaying valuables or large amounts of cash
- Use ATMs inside banks or shopping centres during daylight
- Keep car doors locked and valuables out of sight
- Be cautious at night in cities

Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) is about 40–45 km / 35–50 minutes from central Windhoek.
